Excessive traffic

Due to the number of road closures around Peterborough (mainly stanground bridge) the traffic through Hampton to access Yaxley is appalling at rush hour. The road planning for Hampton and the new haddon estate is not coping with the volume of traffic.

  • Good morning. We are aware of the disruption that these bridge works are causing, however due to the nature of these works, a road closure is the only option. I have been informed by our contractor that the works are on course to finish by 30/08, so hopefully the disruption won't carry on for too much longer. Thank you for taking the time to contact us.
