Zero signage to advise of crossing or to slow down

We live in the flats here and often sit outside and talk about how many cars speed up and down this road or almost get clipped at the crossing, several people have over the years and today a cat was mowed down and deceased which has caused a lot of anger within the community, this path at the crossing is also not from a school so should absolutely have signage to advise - crossing beware or signs to slow down as you enter or leave this street. I’m seriously surprised there isn’t already!
