Customer Services has received a response from the team responsible for PCC Play Areas. Unfortunately, they have confirmed that the location you reported is not a PCC‑managed play area and therefore does not fall under the council’s responsibility. It may be privately owned.
Regrettably, we do not hold details of the landowner. To find out who owns the land or property, you can request this information through the Government’s Land Registry website by selecting the Title Register option. Once obtained, you may wish to contact the landowner directly to request that any necessary repairs are carried out.
You can access the Land Registry search here: https://www.gov.uk/ search-property-information-land-registry
We apologise that we are unable to assist further on this occasion and hope this information is helpful.
