Overflow bins, number 9 bins not collected.
Reported via mobile in the Other public road issue category anonymously at 09:46, Saturday 27 June 2026
Sent to Peterborough City Council 2 days, 1 hour, 38 minutes later. Council ref: 9691001.
The bins at number 9 have not been collected for two weeks. Their black bin was not collected during the last scheduled collection, and as a result, the bins are now overflowing. While other residents typically retrieve their bins, these have remained uncollected. Due to the warm weather, there are noticeable issues with flies and worms, and these bins are located near the communal garden and shed belonging to numbers 6 and 5.
We have previously reported the abandoned brown bins, which have been present for over a year, and individuals from other properties, 8, 9 Elderflower way continue to improperly dispose of waste. We kindly request the removal of these three abandoned bins and would appreciate it if appropriate action could be taken regarding those who do not retrieve their bins after collection. The images attached were taken last night after the bin collection at 2015pm
Thank you.
