Giant, reoccurring and dangerous

This faulty road service now complete with a pothole is a menace to road users and it’s going to kill someone if you don’t fix this whole section of road. My son has nearly a £400 bill for suspension damages to his car! This whole lane 1 and now into lane 2 vibrates the heck out of my car. If my car has damages, then I’m going to hold you financially liable. I’m a loss adjuster by profession and have access to legal services, so I suggest you listen and do something to permanently fix this section of busy road. It’s not just a pothole, it’s the whole surface that has subsided.

  • The picture attached to this report does not appear to be a recent photograph, I have attached a picture of the area which was taken today (2nd June 2026) which shows the original pot hole has been repaired. Resurfacing of this carriageway is scheduled for Summer 2026 - Monitoring of this area will continue during routine inspections.
