Fly tipping
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 9447753.
A tire and a sofa were dumped in the Stuart House private car park. I understand that being private land the council isn't responsible for removing the items dumped here; however, I still want to report this. I have CCTV evidence of the people dumping the waste.

The cleansing team were unable to clear the reported fly-tip.
This may be due to one of the following reasons: the items could not be located, they may be situated on private land, they may contain hazardous materials such as asbestos requiring specialist removal, or the report may be a duplicate of one already received.
Please note that fly-tipping is only cleared from land owned or maintained by Peterborough City Council.
Waste on Private land remains the responsibility of the landowner.

Following further investigation, Customer Services have obtained the below closing comment from the Street Cleansing Team:
This is a private car park.
In addition, Customer Services can see a report has been raised with the Environmental Enforcement Team. They will investigate the reported waste and may take appropriate enforcement action where necessary.
