• Thank you for reporting fly-tipping to Peterborough City Council. We aim to remove the fly-tip within three days, although this may depend on its size, scale, location, or whether it is hazardous. To help us reduce fly-tipping, please share any evidence you have about who is responsible.

  If you have chosen to provide a witness statement, your report will be automatically forwarded to our Enforcement Team, who will contact you if further information is needed as the case is investigated. • The cleansing team were unable to clear the reported fly-tip.

  This may be due to one of the following reasons: the items could not be located, they may be situated on private land, they may contain hazardous materials such as asbestos requiring specialist removal, or the report may be a duplicate of one already received.

  Please note that fly-tipping is only cleared from land owned or maintained by Peterborough City Council.

  Waste on Private land remains the responsibility of the landowner.
