Tree condition

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 9361328.

The tree as indicated has several dead branches, Some of the branches have cracked or peeling bark. The tree is also covered with brown patches, I'm concerned that an branches that fall will damage property or cars in the car park.

    A qualified tree surveyor has assessed your request and following a site visit has been unable to recommend any further action on this occasion.

    Please be aware that Aragon Direct Services manages the Council owned trees in accordance with the Peterborough Tree & Woodland Strategy 2018-2028.

    Continued management of all of our trees forms an integral part of this strategy. All Council owned trees are surveyed by a qualified surveyor for safety every one to five years, depending on how much the area surrounding them is used. Where inspection identifies maintenance work it is scheduled in accordingly with safety issues forming the highest priority.
