Road closed

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 9261845.

Road is closed but when i came in to work this morning at the local school lots of people were driving through the road closure by driving onto the pavement and i nearly got hit. I am also checking when these works will be finished as both schools start back on Monday the 13th April and we need to try and get some communication out to parents if its going be when the children come back

  • Good morning. Thank you for writing in. The emergency works are looking to be completed by tonight/Friday as they are waiting on the correct materials for reinstatement. One of our highways inspectors has visited site this morning to check the works and signage are suitable.
