Silver BMW with no MOT
Reported via desktop in the Abandoned vehicles category anonymously at 22:39, Thursday 26 March 2026
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 9195323.
The Silver BMW is parked on the street. Where there is a maximum of 5 cars that can park there. It belongs to the car dealership. As a resident which could use the parking spot. Its really frustrating seeing this. Put it simply. A big waste of space. As reported by someone else. It also has no MOT.
Please resolve this as quickly as possible

Thank you for your report.
If the owner of a vehicle is known, or the vehicle is actively being used while untaxed, without a valid MOT, uninsured, or otherwise not road‑legal, this constitutes a traffic offence. Such matters fall under police responsibility, as they are breaches of road traffic legislation and must be addressed as criminal or enforcement issues rather than civil or administrative ones.
Where a vehicle is observed being driven or used on a public road in these circumstances, it should be reported directly to the police, who have the appropriate powers to investigate, issue penalties, seize vehicles where necessary, and take enforcement action against the responsible party.
If a vehicle is abandoned but not in use we can then log this for the environmental enforcement officer to attend and investigate as potential abandoned vehicle.
You can report an untaxed vehicle to the DLVA directly online
