Broken glass all over the pathway

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to report a serious safety issue at Fletton Park, specifically on the narrow entrance footpath around the lake.
There is currently a large amount of smashed glass covering the central walkway. The path is very narrow, with no safe alternative route, meaning walkers, children and dogs are at significant risk of injury. I had to pull my dogs tightly along the very edge to avoid them stepping on the glass, which could easily have resulted in a veterinary emergency.
In addition to this immediate hazard, I would also like to raise ongoing concerns about the condition and monitoring of this area. There are frequently groups drinking alcohol and smoking cannabis near the lake, and the area is regularly littered with beer cans and rubbish on both sides of the fencing. There have also been signs of fires being lit.
The park appears poorly monitored, particularly during the darker winter months when it is already dark by mid-afternoon. As a regular dog walker, I do not feel safe using this path in winter, and I am concerned about the overall lack of visible checks or supervision.
The area would benefit from:
Prompt removal of the broken glass
Increased regular maintenance checks
Additional dog waste bins
Greater monitoring, particularly in the evenings (potentially CCTV if appropriate)
Fletton Park is a valuable local green space, but at present this section is unsafe and in poor condition. I would appreciate confirmation that this has been logged and that action will be taken.
I have photographs available if required.
Kind regards,
