Drug dealing and car cruising

Reported via mobile in the Other public road issue category anonymously at 11:02, Sunday 8 February 2026

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 8865041.

Every night cars park on the corner of Lincoln Road and down Burmer Road to conduct business. Normal pattern of behaviour is after dark single men park and wait in their car with engine running, mobile phone in hand until another car arrives and exchanges are made. They then turn and drive away. This is not innocent activity and is making the area even more antisocial and potentially dangerous for residents and pedestrians. This end of the road is not properly lit and is free to park, even on double yellows. They loiter without fear of any police presence as they rarely visit this area at night. As we pay our council tax we would appreciate nightly police patrols.
