The pot hole is filled with water and is big
Reported via mobile in the Pothole category by Glenn Drew at 16:47, Sunday 1 February 2026
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 8815029.
The pot hole in question was filled by a Council contractor recently. I observed the contractor hand shovel soft fill tarmac into pot holes which were full of water, which is most unreliable/unsatisfactory for a busy and heavily used road, by cars, lorries and buses. The repairs lasted barely a day. The pot hole in question is now huge and is a lot worse than before it was repaired. This is a heavy traffic route into the village. The road surface needs to be repaired properly to ensure a first time fix otherwise it is a waste of public funding. Many thanks and kind regards. Glenn Drew
