Water leaking over public walkway

Reported via mobile in the Flooded road category anonymously at 10:26, Friday 16 January 2026

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 8700280.

I have reported this to anglia water they have inspected it today 16th jan 2026 and have reported to me that it is not a problem with anglia water pipe work and advised it is reported to the council I see it has been previously reported to you but the problem persists and poses a danger hazard in cold weather and has also been very slippery to walk on in mild weather due to slime build up as the problem has been unresolved

  • We have investigated this leak of water and Peterborough City Council do not have any drainage assets in this vicinity, we do have the carriageway gullies but they take water in apposed to discharge, this does appear to have a constant feed even in a dry prolonged period so it is being served by some feed, we noted that there is a newish Water cover near to the telegraph pole therefore we will ask Anglian Water to revisit.
