Loose manhole cover

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 8568820.

First reported last December and declared ‘not the council’s responsibility’. Apparently passed on to the relevant utility company but no action in twelve months is difficult to comprehend. The problem is getting worse. It is on a busy road which is a regular bus route also

  • Sewer covers are the responsibility of Anglian Water, We have reported this noisy cover to them and they were advised that it was a noise nuisance. Anglian Water replied that it was to be issued for repair but no other details provided.

    We would advise in this instance contacting AW directly and reporting it again, advising of the constant noise and deterioration.
