Dispute the Response received
Reported via desktop in the Problem with tree roots category by David Wright at 18:08, Tue 2 December 2025
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 8493467.
Issue 8348896 I have the response which is unacceptable! 1) how can the investigation have taken place without accessing our property! 2) I’d even challenge that the specialist has visited the trees? 3)the community value is an unrealistic measure as the trees are at the back of our property and overhang the pavement and Gunthorpe Road.! 4) significant visual evidence should be easy that the trees are now overhanging the pavement at at higher level - they have had some lower branches trimmed on the parent side. The visual evidence is also obvious from our property side, having grown more than 2 meters in the last 10 years, with no council action during that period.
The lack of courtesy from Aragon is unacceptable and a management response is requested
