  • We have been on site and cleansed the gullies, 90% of the gullies on the Wittering village site outfall to soakaways, a design implemented by the MOD. As such during heavy rainfall the soakaways become saturated ( like a sponge) and this results in temporary areas of standing water, once the soakaways dry the water will flow into the gullies and to the drying soakaway.
