Construction workers deliberately littering

Reported via mobile in the Litter removal category by Damian Michael Watring at 19:36, Thu 6 November 2025

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 8386413.

Since moving into my new house in mid September, Loads of discarded lunch debris and empty cans started appearing along the wall the divides occupied houses and land development. I tend to pick items up off the road but I’ve become increasingly frustrated with this habitual activity. Sometimes I arrive home from work in the evening and there’s trash in my own fenced back yard ! Today my patience broke its last straw, from my window that faces the back alleyway, I witnessed an energy drink can come flying over the wooden fence from the construction area! How awful! Truthfully, I don’t think it’s fair that the city should come and clean this up, I’m requesting that the council gets in touch with whoever has the contract for developing the area and demand they clean up the trash that’s accumulating and to prohibit this behavior from happening anymore. Thank you for your time and consideration.
