Reported via desktop in the Abandoned vehicles category anonymously at 14:10, Wed 22 October 2025

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 8326660.

Vehicle has been there over 6 months. is SORN and out of MOT, last v5C issued 08/02/2025 white, iveco, curtain side van - not moved - not seen anyone at it. Will leak fluid into water course or drains if left there - absolute eyesore on a new development - will encourage vermin also - please remove it or at least attach a ticket asking for it to be removed as developer says it is not there responsibility and according to my research it is the responsibility of the council if it is not taxed etc

    Abandoned vehicle private - landowner

If you are the landowner, the landowner must request an abandoned vehicle investigation for possible removal. To proceed, please email us at environmentalenforcementteam@peterborough.gov.uk. The Safer Communities team will then send you a consent form. Please note there is a non-refundable charge to cover our administration costs of £100 per vehicle (including VAT). Once payment has been received arrangements will be made to inspect the vehicle. This does not guarantee removal of the vehicle if it does not fit Peterborough City Council's criteria of an abandoned vehicle.
