Shopping trolley and bin bags
Reported via mobile in the General fly tipping category by Jan Bradshaw at 13:29, Thu 11 September 2025
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 8152252.
There is a shopping trolley full of what looks to be rubbish and several black bin bags around it. It's been there for about a week. I was hoping it would have been removed in the regular refuse collection earlier this week

Aragon Direct Services were unable to clear the reported fly-tip. This may be due to one of the following reasons: the items could not be located, they may be situated on private land, they may contain hazardous materials such as asbestos requiring specialist removal, or the report may be a duplicate of one already received.
Even if your report is marked as closed – no further action, please be assured that it will still be reviewed. The Peterborough City Council Customer Services Access Specialist Team will carry out further investigation and respond with an outcome.
Please note that fly-tipping is only cleared from land owned or maintained by Peterborough City Council. Aragon Direct Services are not permitted to remove waste from private land, as this remains the responsibility of the landowner.
In some cases, the council’s environmental enforcement team may also carry out further investigation.
State changed to: No further action
