Overhanging pyracanthus

Reported via desktop in the Public right of way - problem with access or damage category anonymously at 18:42, Thu 28 August 2025

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 8087794.

I raised a case last week due to it being dangerous walking down the path from Hyholmes to Westhawe as this pyranthus is overhanging the path to an extent where you have to duck down to 3 feet high to get under it. The case has been closed with the owner of the property notified. The owner has now cut back some of the overhang including the long thin ones, but you still need to duck to get under some of it, and the bits chopped off have been left on the path. Are there are long thorns this is now dangerous for dog walkers who easily pick up the thorns in their paws. Please can a proper prune and clear be done to make this footpath safe again.
