Overhanging Tree Causing Health and Property Issue

I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding an overhanging tree located at 8 Pendleton ravensthorpe PE3 7LZ, which is now causing serious issues to our home and garden and car.
The tree has become significantly overgrown and is now encroaching very close to our house. Not only is this affecting the appearance and maintenance of our property, but more worryingly, the tree is producing a large amount of sap which is spreading throughout our garden.
This sap is causing several problems:
It is coating surfaces in our garden, and car which is making them sticky and difficult to clean.
It is having a negative effect on our dog’s health, as he has been licking the sap and is becoming unwell as a result.
It poses a potential risk to the structural integrity of our property, should the overgrowth worsen or strong winds cause branches to fall.
We would be very grateful if you could investigate this matter and take the appropriate action to have the tree trimmed back or maintained properly. It is important for the safety, cleanliness, and wellbeing of our household — including our pet.

A qualified tree surveyor has assessed your request and following a site visit has recommended works. On completion of the works you may feel the task undertaken may not fully address the issue raised. Aragon Direct Services employ qualified tree surveyors to undertake the inspections and all works recommended are in accordance within the guidance contained within the Peterborough Tree & Woodland Strategy 2018-2028.
Continued management of all our trees forms an integral part of this strategy. All Council owned trees are surveyed by a qualified surveyor for safety every one-to-five years, depending on how much the area surrounding them is used. Where inspection identifies maintenance work it is scheduled in accordingly with safety issues forming the highest priority.

The works recommended from the inspection have been approved and we are in the process of issuing a work order to our contractor.

The works order has now been issued to the contractor and they will endeavour to have this completed within 40 working days. For info, timescales for completion are currently slightly extended due to a backlog of works at present
