  • Thank you for your report.

Please see below information provided by the Enviornmental Enforcement Team

If a vehicle is reported as untaxed or Sorn but has trade plate on, unfortunately our Environmental Enforcement Team are unable to deal with this as an abandoned vehicle. It could be misuse of a trade plate that can be reported to the DVLA if used to park in a residential street.

It is an offence to use more than one vehicle under a trade licence at any one time, and to keep a vehicle on a road when not in use except in certain emergency situations.

You can report the misuse of trade plates by emailing Trade.Licensing@dvla.gov.uk. Please include the nature of misuse and any trade plate number used. A warning letter will then be sent to the registered holder of the trade plate.

If there is an obstruction of the road or pavement or blocking drive or any dangerous parking, this is the responsibility of the police to investigate and enforce. They can be contacted on 101 or you can complete their ASB form online to report the obstruction - https://www.cambs.police.uk/ ro/ report/ asb/ asb/ report-antisocial-behaviour/
