Overgrown footpath
Reported via mobile in the Leaf removal category anonymously at 19:59, Sun 25 May 2025
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7616576.
This footpath is constantly overgrown and worse now the foliage has grown the bushes have grown over the footpath sp much that you can't walk two abreast down it. The bushes are overhanging at head height so you have to stoop to avoid getting hit in the face. This footpath is always a problem and is not maintained. It has been like it for years. The same issue is affecting the footpath leading down to this shortcut as hedges are taking over the footpath. You cannot easily push a wheelchair or pushchair all the way on either path as there is no room. Anyone in a wheelchair using the shortcut through to Oundle Road is very likely to get their face caught on the overhanging plants and branches
