Second accident in 4 weeks

Reported via mobile in the Bollard category anonymously at 08:23, Wednesday 14 May 2025

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7566580.

Another car has crashed this morning. As there is no crash barrier despite 2 previous reports of "risk to life" a car has crashed and flipped over having gone through the boundary wall and into our home landing next to the bulk gas tank. All emergencies services have attended and the driver has been taken to hospital. My fear is next time if the council continue to not fix the crash barrier someone will die. Either some from our family the car having gone straight into the lounge or the driver of the vehicle. I can't emphasise enough how essential a fully working crash barrier on this corner is. Please make an emergency replacement of the barrier that is not just a plastic red and white barrier as before. It is not enough and the Risk to Life as you can see from the pictures remains.
