Dangerous crossing

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7536534.

Can this crossing be closed please? It's incredibly close to traffic passing at 70mph. I don't think there's another crossing like this anywhere in the country. A sign adjacent to the crossing has already been hit by a car, had that been a person they'd likely have died. There's a perfectly good walking route away from the parkway it's just not necessary. Thank you kindly
