Tree belt trees overhanging front garden by 15+ft

I have been reporting this problem for several years. Trees near the fence were marked for felling in 2019 but this was not done. I have been in contact with the Tree Services Team in 2023 and 2024 and was assured by someone who came to my property that the trees would be dealt with this winter but this did not happen.

  • Works recommended

    Thanks for your enquiry regarding a Council owned tree.

    A qualified tree surveyor has assessed your request and following a site visit has recommended works. On completion of the works you may feel the task undertaken may not fully address the issue raised. Aragon Direct Services employ qualified tree surveyors to undertake the inspections and all works recommended are in accordance within the guidance contained within the Peterborough Tree & Woodland Strategy 2018-2028.

    Continued management of all our trees forms an integral part of this strategy. All Council owned trees are surveyed by a qualified surveyor for safety every one-to-five years, depending on how much the area surrounding them is used. Where inspection identifies maintenance work it is scheduled in accordingly with safety issues forming the highest priority.
