Pothole in a live lane on a high-speed road, presenting a clear safety risk to motorists—particularly at night when visibility is reduced. The defect poses a danger to all vehicles, especially motorcycles and smaller cars, and could easily cause damage or loss of control. Its location makes it harder for drivers to react safely, and if left unaddressed, it could result in accidents or claims against the authority responsible for maintaining the road. Prompt repair is necessary to mitigate these risks and uphold duty of care.
