Overflowing bins at no 3
Reported via mobile in the General fly tipping category anonymously at 20:04, Tuesday 15 April 2025
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7440838.
This has been reported to the council before. House no3 leaves their bin at front everyday -365 days a year. Every week the bin is overflowing attracting rats. The property has space at the back for the bins. This is not being used. The strewn letter will start to get blown into our front yard when it’s windy . This is really unhygienic. Can this be looked into please.

You can report cases of fly-tipping on private land to us, although it is the landowner’s responsibility to clear the waste.
Our Environmental Enforcement Team can only investigate if there is enough evidence available, e.g. witness statement, CCTV footage, evidence in the waste, etc.
When you report, please state if you’re able to provide any evidence to support our investigation. If there is enough evidence, once the case is referred to the Environmental Enforcement Team for investigation, we will mark the report as closed on the system.
If there is no evidence of the fly-tipping being committed, or who the waste originally belonged to, we are unable to investigate and proceed with your report.
