Bushes not cut back for years

Reported via desktop in the Leaf removal category anonymously at 16:25, Monday 14 April 2025

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7434425.

These bushes used to be trimmed each year by the council, but for many years they have not been cut back, we try to cut the ones that overhang our property, but as my husband is now over 70 this is becoming increasingly more difficult, when we do cut them back and leave the cuttings at the rear of the field, they are just left there from year to year, the grass never gets cut beneath them because they protrude so far into the field, so weeds and grass from the long grass keep growing through our fence, we notice that bushes around other areas of Peterborough are trimmed so why are these just left, they effect our property more so than the neighbours due to the location
