Drains blocked with leaves and other debris
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7398369.
There are two drains on left hand side of Uffington Road as you drive to Uffington between Linden Close and Paynes Field road exits that are absolutely solid and unable to drain anything away (unfortunately don’t have pics of when it rained recently). Also drains as you enter Paynes Field on left hand side - first two are also blocked. They wont be able to cope with the next really big rains that’s for sure and cause danger for drivers and pedestrians.

We have raised a works order to our drainage contractor to undertake routine cleansing to "all" adopted carriageway gullies in Barnack, therefore to obtain best value for money we will leave the gullies for now with the view they will be picked up by this routine gully cleansing programme in the coming weeks. If, however any of the gullies become a high flood risk and a danger to life and or limb, prior to this routine cleanse, please do report back into the office and we will instigate an emergency cleanse.
