Deep 12" diameter pothole in carriageway

This pothole has been growing in overall size and depth for weeks, and is associated with another, smaller but growing pothole, which is with two feet of this main road surface defect. Together the size of defects and their location on the blind corner of Old Leicester Road means that traffic crosses into the path of on-coming vehicles to avoid them. They are especially dangerous for two wheeled vehicles.
