Fallen tree leaning on another tree

Reported via mobile in the Fallen tree category by Malcolm Graham at 16:58, Tuesday 18 March 2025

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7299345.

Good afternoon, during one of the storms over the winter a tree has been blown over. It has been prevented from falling completely because it is now leaning on another tree. I am concerned that future high winds might cause both trees to fall, or that the weight of the fallen tree might, in time, cause the living tree to fall. The tree doesn't need removing (the rotting wood will be good for nature), just cutting from the living tree. I hope my photo combined with the map info is clear enough for the location. It's easy to see when you stand in the field and look towards David's Lane. Regards Malcolm
