Additional 40mph signage would help prevent issues

Reported via desktop in the Traffic sign category anonymously at 16:38, Monday 17 March 2025

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7293178.

Some additional 40mph signs would be helpful here. There is a 40mph sign on the roundabout/slip road as you exit MORLEY WAY to join the A1260/NENE PARKWAY (Southbound), but it appears most drivers are ignoring this and still accelerating to 60mph/national Speed Limit as it used to be at this junction to join the A1260. So, an additional 40mph sign midway down or at the end of the sliproad as you join the A1260/NENE PARKWAY would help alleviate issues that are occurring, as well as a repeater 40mph for traffic already on the A1260/NENE PARKWAY who are still driving at speeds over 40mph as they approach the roundabout.
