Overgrown trees and shrubs

Reported via desktop in the Public right of way - problem with access or damage category anonymously at 11:44, Thursday 13 February 2025

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 7129033.

The trees and shrubs planted in the garden of 4 Aubretia Avenue PE4 7SX are encroaching over the public footpath to the extent that approx 60% of the footpath is blocked. This would create a hazard for users of mobility scooters and children's pushchairs, in particular. The encroachment has increased with the growth of the plants, despite the owner trimming the plants.
