Lights change too quickly

Reported via desktop in the Permanent category anonymously at 12:24, Friday 10 January 2025

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6961455.

New 3 lane traffic lights near Tesco/A1139. When they go red, the other lights at the RAB immediately change to amber then green with no "few seconds" delay. I have had a few near misses when my light was green and I entered the RAB but other cars were still bombing it from the other direction, yes, actually going through red lights. But if there were a delay in the change, this would not happen. At the lights further up the parkway at Thorpe Wood near Bretton RAB, there is a delay of a few seconds when the lights change to red going one way, and the lights changing to amber/green in the opposite direction which is much safer
