  • All gullies along Boxer Road have now been inspected and any detritus removed from the gully pots where necessary, like 90% of all gullies in Wittering they all outfall to soakaways, (MOD design) therefore during times of persistent of heavy rain fall, the ground becomes saturated thus making the soakaways less efficient resulting in temporary areas of standing water, once the ground dries the soakaways can then take more water leaving the carriageway free of standing water.
