Abandoned Car

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6876846.
A silver Golf has been abandoned in a parking space for at least the past 3 months, it has no valid tax and now has flat tyres, it is taking up space needed by residents to park.

This has been logged for our Environmental Enforcement Team to attend and start their investigation. If the car fits the Abandoned Vehicle criteria and on PCC land/Highway a sticker will be placed on the windscreen giving the owner either 2, 7 or 14-days' notice to remove the car.

Peterborough City Council enforcement team will only act on ABV report cars where there is significant evidence the car is abandoned (example, been there for very long time, weeds growing from under the car, waste inside the car or the car is in very poor condition.
