Thank you for your report,
Unfortunately, we are unable to log this as an abandoned vehicle at the moment.
Where a car is taxed and has been in an accident, the owner of the car would have made a claim with their insurance company. The insurance company will then arrange for the car to be removed. Usually, this process can take a few weeks.
If the car is still there in two weeks’ time, please let us know by emailing us with this report reference number to (ask@peterborough.gov.uk) and we will then log this for the enforcement officer to attend and investigate. If the car is in an extremely poor condition (Smashed windows, wires exposed) please let us know on the email above with this report and we can then log with the enforcement officer to look into.
If the car is causing any obstruction, or left in a dangerous place/position, please report to the police on 101.
