Various rubbish in stream stopping water flow.

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6699103.

Various rubbish. Wood, doors, pram, Childs car seat, some metal objects, large ride on toys, plastic large mixing bowl, broken parts of toys, suitcases, long metal pole, broken furniture parts, drinking cans. Thrown in the stream which can be seen if looking over the bridge from the path or taking a few steps to go into the park from the main road.

  • Thank you for your report. It has been confirmed that this watercourse, known as Paston Brook, is maintained by the Environment Agency. We have reported this to the EA but in future, incidents like this can be reported to the EA direct via 0800 807060.

    Fly-tipping will only be cleared from land owned or maintained by Peterborough City Council. Aragon Direct Services are unable to clear fly-tipping from private land as this is the responsibility of the landowner.

    In some cases, the council's environmental enforcement team will investigate further.
