Drainage issue

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6439562.

When it rains the water backs up in the guttering down pipe, its coming out of the hopper head and its overspilling there and getting the walls wet making it damp inside the property. Anglian water have been out to inspect and have advised its PCC.

  • Private roof water discharges to one of two places, it can be either private soakaways that are located within the properties garden, or they outfall into the Anglian Waters surface water sewer. Roof water drainage does not, or should not be connected to highway drainage gullies.
