Drains overflow when downpour of rain, the picture attached is after approx 1 hour of rain, reported around 8 months ago with nothing done about it

  • Once again we have inspected the carriageway gully, like most of the road surface water gullies in Wittering village they all outfall to Soakaways, this was the design the MOD specified at the time Wittering was built. During short heavy rain fall events the soakaway quickly fills and thus some temporary areas of standing water appear.
