Road repatching has resulted in water pooling

Reported via mobile in the Road works category anonymously at 19:36, Tue 9 July 2024

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6210537.

The end of Grove Lane adjoining Thorpe Road was resurfaced/repatched on Monday, 8th July. This appeared to involve a machine spraying tarmac on to the road to cover a previously uneven surface. Although this has undoubtedly tidied up the road near the junction, it has created the unintended consequence of a run-off for the rain water, which now forms into a large pool next to it. A puddle didn’t form here previously. I’d appreciate if this could be remedied please.
