Drainage cover missing on Coniston Road

This drainage without a cover has been like this for well over 3 years now, it is at the back of the houses where parking and garages are. My daughter plays out the back on her scooter and I’m worried she’ll forget it’s there and go down it and break bones. My sister also came to visit at the weekend and drove over it and has damaged her tyre doing so.
