Dangerously placed sign

Reported via desktop in the Traffic sign category anonymously at 08:55, Tuesday 25 June 2024

Sent to Peterborough City Council 4 hours, 39 minutes later. Council ref: 6150429.

There is a temporary "Road Closed" sign on Sutton Heath Road, immediately past the blind corner when travelling north on Sutton Heath Road, national speed limit 60mph, which leaves insufficient time to stop before reaching the sign. There is no warning sign before the corner. This will cause very sudden braking or swerving to the other side of the road and therefore a possible accident.
