Over hanging branches and trees becoming too big
Reported via desktop in the Overhanging branches category anonymously at 17:52, Sunday 16 June 2024
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6114065.
I live at 92 Paulsgrove and support the previous request to cut back trees adjacent to me and my neighbours properties. As stated we maintain the driveway but the overhanging branches are becoming too big to manage and getting very near our properties. Thanks for your help.

Works recommended
Thanks for your enquiry regarding a Council owned tree.
A qualified tree surveyor has assessed your request and following a site visit has recommended works. On completion of the works you may feel the task undertaken may not fully address the issue raised. Aragon Direct Services employ qualified tree surveyors to undertake the inspections and all works recommended are in accordance within the guidance contained within the Peterborough Tree & Woodland Strategy 2018-2028.
Continued management of all our trees forms an integral part of this strategy. All Council owned trees are surveyed by a qualified surveyor for safety every one-to-five years, depending on how much the area surrounding them is used. Where inspection identifies maintenance work it is scheduled in accordingly with safety issues forming the highest priority.
