Asbestos roof tiles at side of road - with photos

Reported via desktop in the General fly tipping category anonymously at 09:24, Friday 7 June 2024

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6076055.

I reported this 2 weeks ago ref 6023848 . Yesterday I received an email sayng Aragon marked it as "No further action". I called troday and was told they say it was not on Council land. However they are clearly at the side of the road in front of a hedgerow. (see photograph) and what3words so I am baffled how this can be on private land. Hence reporting it again.

  • Aragon Direct Services were unable to clear this fly tip. This may be that we were unable to locate the items, items are on private land, or this may be a duplicate report.

Your report will be investigated further, and you will be provided with an update by Peterborough City Council Customer Services team.

Fly-tipping will only be cleared from land owned or maintained by Peterborough City Council. Aragon Direct Services are unable to clear fly-tipping from private land as this is the responsibility of the landowner.

In some cases, the council's environmental enforcement team will investigate further.
