Dog fouling

Reported via mobile in the Dog fouling category by Albina Balciuniene at 19:49, Sun 3 December 2023

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5277815.

I live in 13 Carl hall court and my neighbours have 2 dogs that they let roam around and they poo on my property. This has been going on since before summer and during summer the dogs would poo on my property and this attracted so many flies which meant I couldn’t open my door or window because the flies would come into my house. I spoke to my neighbours and asked them to put up a small fence or something to stop them from going onto my property and pooping and peeing on it because the smell is just so horrible and it’s really unpleasant as they do this all over my gardening and trample all my plants. They put up some chairs but in the mornings they still let the dogs out and let them roam which is when they poo. I am an old woman and to have to bend down to the floor and pick up the poop is really difficult for me and it shouldn’t be my responsibility anyway. This has not stopped no matter how many times I’ve spoken to them and asked them nicely. Yesterday I spoke to them and asked them again to clean up the poop or to stop the dogs from coming on to my property and they became quite aggressive and started threatening me.
