Road flooding next to cycle path route to school

Reported via mobile in the Other public road issue category anonymously at 11:48, Tue 14 November 2023

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5209898.

The road is flooding next to the cyclepath/footpath which is the designated safe route to Hampton Gardens School for Yaxley children. This is their catchment school. Vehicles cannot always avoid this water and children travelling to school get soaked. This is unacceptable, the children cannot be expected to sit in soaking wet clothes all day. Vehicles cannot be expected to drive in a dangerous way to try and avoid the water. This happens frequently, rainfall does not have to of a high level to cause it. When the rain is high that road floods all the way accross and is very dangerous to drive through.
