Road Drains and edging due to Heavy goods vehicles
Reported via mobile in the Other public road issue category anonymously at 22:21, Sat 14 January 2023
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4129816.
Due to the significant number of heavy goods vehicles using this as the access point to the building estate south of the village. The road isn’t fit for purpose and as such the vehicles are mounting the grasses area to make the turn around the corner. This has significantly damaged the surrounding area including several of the drainage points along this road area. Even though it has been promised by the building company to repair this area there has been no attempt to do so. Long term the drains will cave through leading to the roads being closed for repair. Action to fix this problem is essential.
